In the last few years, I've become a searcher and a seeker...a Wayfaring Stranger, if you will. Everything about my life has come into question. This blog is a reflection of that ongoing hunt for the truth in every aspect of life...and to find it in an entertaining, humorous way. No revolutions here, people!!!

A Tiny (Toony) Peek
Every morning (and evening), The Hub reruns Tiny Toon Adventures. Naturally, being 31, this is what I have muted in the background as I work. Every now and then, I'll look up and see a scene that was permanently imprinted on my brain as a child, which tells me I saw each TTA episode more times than was probably healthy for my brain.
The permanence of these images is curious, however, since Tiny Toons came on at 5 p.m. (right after The Disney Afternoon), and we were supposed to be doing homework at the time, and there was a "no-TV-during-the-school-week" rule in our house, so we shouldn't have been watching...
Oh, right, Mom was making dinner, Dad was still working, and I was "sneaking a peek" in the family room, as one of my brothers held the look-out(-for-Mom) post.
Looking back, I sneaked quite a few peeks in those days.
As I entered adolescence, sneaking peeks took on a different connotation.
The subjects of those peeks also became less...toony. ;-)
